Day one – We’ll be using pages from magazines to create small collages that can be use as prompts for much larger polymer wall pieces. These collages are wonderful ways to explore color, shapes composition and mark making. I’ll show you several way to translate your paper collage into polymer using many techniques. 

One hour mid week check-in – Stop in if you have questions or need help.

Day two – continuation of techniques and final construction using the components created on day one.  I’ll be concentrating on larger pieces, 9″x11″ and 11″x14, but these techniques can be used on smaller pieces as well.

This first piece was inspired by several artists, Rex Ray was the main influencer.

Lots of patterns and colors from several magazines contributed to this postcard and others below. Lots inspiration for many of the techniques I’ll be teaching.

I’ve always admired Georgia O’Keeffe’s large flowers. I created many versions of paper flowers for this piece.
